Something To Be Thankful For ...
All the best sales and deals on rugged menswear this year for Black Craziness

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Denmark, but this week did mark something I’m incredibly thankful for:
On Tuesday, November 25th, my wife and I celebrated our copper wedding anniversary—exactly 12.5 years of marriage. It’s a tradition in Denmark (and a few other places in Europe), and we spent the day together, with our kids, and with her parents ❤️

Speaking of Thanksgiving, while the holiday itself hasn’t reached our shores, the commercial ribble effect has. Black Friday has turned into a month-long sale. I’m calling it Black Craziness.
Honestly, I’m quite torn about it. On one hand, my business depends on people shopping, and I do like to do a good deal myself. But Black Craziness is feeding our hyper-consumer habits, and eroding the value of well-made and fairly priced things.
That’s why I’m not offering any Black Friday discount at my own brand, Weirloom.
But I’m not judging. I just hope you’ll think twice before you shop this weekend (or any other time, for that matter). Ask yourself if you really need it; if it’s ethically made and repairable; if it’ll look good after years a wear/use.
And if you are looking for a good deal this weekend, I’d start the hunt with the sales and deals I’ve rounded up below.
PS. If you plan to buy from any of these shops and brands, you can support the work I do by clicking any of the links below before you place your order—that earns me a small commission, and it doesn’t cost you anything.
The sale at Redcast Heritage is still on, and the Spanish retailer is knocking 15% off all orders. Just use the code BF2025 on checkout.
If you want selvedge jeans tailored to your exact specs, SOSO’s offer is hard to beat. They’re taking 15% off sitewide until Sunday. That includes their custom jeans, denim shirts, and jackets—all handmade, with tons of fabric and fit options to choose from.

Gustin’s running a pre-order campaign for jeans made from 14 oz. Cone Mills selvedge denim—either in indigo with tonal stitching or a black warp/weft version.
Both go for just $79, and they’re funding fast. If you’ve been curious about Gustin or just want excellent denim at an almost-unheard-of price, this is one to jump on.
The American cut-out-the-middle-man-brand also still has a 50% off surplus stock sale that you can shop here.
Brave Star’s $88 selvedge jean deal drove a lot of interest in the newsletter I sent out last Sunday. Now they’ve widened the sale:
20% off Black Friday specials, including some of their most popular fits and denims. If you missed out last time, now’s the time to browse.
