Friday Wrap-Up: SOSO’s 20 oz. Double Indigo and Lost & Found Shop Guide

Each week, I round up the highlights from Denimhunters—new releases, guides, and denim worth your time and hard-earned cash.

Another week down, another Friday newsletter.

Two highlights this time: SOSO just dropped a 20 oz. double indigo capsule, and I published a new guide to Lost & Found in Toronto—one of Canada’s best denim destinations.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SOSO

Last week, I introduced some new advertising options here on Denimhunters, and I’m very pleased to say that SOSO is the first brand to take part.

For October, you’ll see them featured in the newsletter each week as I explore what they do best—customisation and heavyweight denim.

And the timing could not have been better, because today, SOSO just announced a new release that deserves a closer look.

Their 20 oz. Double Indigo capsule has been teased on Instagram over the past week, and it is now available to order.

Both warp and weft are dyed in indigo, which gives the fabric a darker, cleaner appearance from the start and sets up sharp contrast fades over time. I’ll be sharing more about this over the coming weeks, but for now, the important thing to know is simple—you can go and get it today.

The fabric comes across three core garments—jeans (in all five SOSO fits), a Type 3 trucker jacket, and a shirt in either Worker or Western cut. Each one can be customised to your liking, but even in the simplest form, they highlight why double indigo is such a rewarding fabric.

Lost & Found is one of Canada’s best-kept menswear secrets—though in truth, it’s not much of a secret anymore. Since 2010, the Toronto shop has grown into a destination that blends rugged heritage denim with streetwear and contemporary design.

On their racks (and online shop), you’ll find The Real McCoy’s, Warehouse, Viberg, Beams Plus, Our Legacy, Carhartt WIP, and more. Few North American retailers carry The Real McCoy’s as broadly as Lost & Found—which tells you just how serious they are about the craft.

Whether you’re into repro-level fades, modern Japanese design, or just want a solid pair of loopwheel tees, Lost & Found is worth bookmarking.

If you make and/or sell products that fit with what Denimhunters is all about, there are several opportunities to be featured—both in this newsletter, on Instagram, and not least on my main platform, denimhunters.com.

Just hit reply to this email and I’ll get back to you with more about the advertising and paid content packages I’m offering.

See you next Friday,
Thomas
